Final Phase Concrete · Terms

Terms of this website.

These terms cover the website itself: what you can rely on here, what the photographs are, and what a quote through this site does and doesn't commit either of us to.

Using this site means accepting these terms.

They apply to every page here, whoever you are and wherever you arrived from. If you disagree with any of it, stop using the site. We update these terms from time to time, and the review date at the foot of this page tells you when we last went through them.

What you read here is general, not a specification for your job.

We write these pages carefully and we keep them current. But concrete is site-specific: what a slab needs depends on the ground beneath it, the drainage around it, the load it carries and the weather it sits in. Nothing here amounts to an assessment of your property. Treat none of it as engineering, design or code advice for a particular project.

Products and systems change. Where a page describes how a material behaves, that's general trade knowledge about the material, not a promise about how one installation at your address will perform.

Colours on a screen are representations, not matches.

Every flake blend, stain, pattern and finish shown on this site is a photograph. It passed through a camera, a compression step and then your display, and each of those changed it. Two people looking at the same swatch on two different phones aren't seeing the same colour.

Sheen suffers worse than colour. A gloss topcoat photographs as a hard white flare or as flat grey, depending entirely on where the light fell that day, and the lighting in your room shifts the result again once the floor goes down.

Before you commit

Pick any decorative finish from a physical sample, in the light of the room it's going into. We bring samples to a colour selection for exactly this reason. Screen images narrow the field; they don't make the final call.

A quote request is not a contract.

Sending the form starts a conversation. It doesn't book a date, reserve a crew or oblige us to take the work, and it doesn't oblige you to buy anything.

Any figure we give before we've seen the site is an estimate built on what you told us. Access, ground conditions, the state of an existing slab and the scope you finally settle on all move that number. Work becomes an agreement only when both sides sign a written contract covering scope, price, payment terms and what happens if something goes wrong. That document governs the job, and it outranks anything written on this website.

The site, its words and its photography stay ours.

Unless a page says otherwise, the text, layout, design, code and images on this website belong to Final Phase Concrete or to the party that gave us permission to use them. Some product and system photographs come from the manufacturers whose materials we install, and those stay the property of the manufacturer.

Read the site, print a page for your own use, link to it: all fine. Don't copy the text onto another website, use our photographs in your own marketing, or pass our written material off as yours. Ask us if you want to use something. Usually the answer is yes, and it costs you an email.

How the site may not be used.

Short list, and it's the usual one.

  • Don't submit the quote form with false details, or on somebody else's behalf without their knowledge
  • Don't send unlawful, threatening or abusive material through any form on the site
  • Don't try to reach any part of the server or hosting account you weren't given
  • Don't scrape, mirror or bulk-download the site, or point automated tools at it that load the server
  • Don't introduce malicious code of any kind

We'll block any address that does these things, and we'll report anything unlawful.

Limits on what we answer for.

This site comes as it is. We don't warrant uninterrupted availability, a page free of every error, or identical display on every device.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Final Phase Concrete carries no liability for loss or damage arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on the general information we publish here: lost time, lost profit, and the cost of work you commission on the strength of a page here instead of a written agreement with us. Nothing in this section limits any liability that can't lawfully be limited.

Liability for work we actually carry out belongs in the signed contract for that work, not here.

Colorado law governs these terms.

The laws of the State of Colorado apply, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from this website or from these terms belongs to the courts of county for venue County, Colorado. If a court strikes one part of these terms, the rest stands.
